How much is the retainer to reserve my wedding date?
A
$300 retainer will be required for your commitment to having your
wedding with Matthew Allen Weddings & Events and enable us to begin
planning your event. The retainer will be applied toward your
wedding and is non-refundable once it is received. Retainers
are required to confirm your wedding date and rate.
I
found a DJ cheaper, why would I book with you?
Our passion, commitment and reputation say it all. Just
because others claim to do the same things we do; in no way can they
actually duplicate the way we do them. We have seen in the
past other cheaper DJs "claim" to do the same thing we do when in
reality they did nothing more than embarrass the couple and ruin the
wedding.
Do we meet and plan with our actual DJ/MC?
Yes, of course. You actually design your wedding with your
DJ/MC throughout the entire planning process. Your DJ is fully
employed by Matthew Allen Weddings & Events and is not a
subcontractor. We believe that the relationship you build
throughout the planning process with your DJ allows them to create
an event that reflects your personality and style.
What about the music?
The music is the heartbeat of your celebration. We promise to
provide you with all the tools to create the ultimate soundtrack for
your special day. In addition to giving you an innovative
online request system, we also work closely with you offering
suggestions and helping you discover some fantastic selections for
each element of your wedding.
Can we see you perform at a wedding?
At a wedding . . . of course not. Your wedding is a special
and private event limited to you and your guests. However, we
do welcome and invite you to attend any of our trainings such as
Toastmasters or any other industry functions. We do have video
of our wedding performances in action and have many references to
highlight our professionalism and style.
Are you licensed and insured?
We are fully licensed and insured. A copy of our policy is
available upon request.
Do you belong to any professional associations or trade groups?
We are active leaders in the American Disc Jockey Association and
Toastmasters International. In addition to ongoing training
and education; we also serve the wedding industry with education for
DJs and other wedding professionals.
Can you recommend any other wedding vendors?
